The CyberFirst Girls competition is a regional competition about cyber security and computing.
On Friday the 10th December we had our enrichment day all about perseverance. Our favourite part of the day was the active session as we had a lot of challenges which were hard but funny.
On Tuesday 14th December, we went to see Peter Pan at the Malvern Theatre. On the way, we went on a coach and we saw lots of sights of Worcestershire. When we arrived, we went through the building to auditorium 7 and sat down.
On Thursday 9th December the Year 6 pupils and teachers went to see Jack and The Beanstalk at Redditch Palace Theatre.
The greatest gift that I have ever received is the Amazon Wish List!! At last my wife can put down what she would like. It has helped me to give the best gifts that she wants (of course I do get something not on the list - usually a last minute dash to Cupitts!!) The tradition of giving gifts at Christmas time is a very ancient one, with links to the Winter Solstice and the Roman festival of Saturnalia. When the Roman empire became Christian the tradition continued, but its meaning was to reflect the giving of the gifts given to Jesus by the wise men. Gifts were then given on Jan 6th!!!
A local IT (computing) company very kindly asked us to design their Christmas card again for this year. They print up the winning design and send it to all their customers. The company is called "Fly-Wheel IT". They awarded an 'Alexa' to the winning entry! ...
On Tuesday 30th November we held our annual House Cross Country competition for the crazy cats who just love to run in the cold and mud!

Anti-Bullying Week is coordinated in England and Wales by the Anti-Bullying Alliance and takes place from 15th to 19th November 2021 and it has the theme One Kind Word. The week will begin with Odd Socks Day which is supported by CBBC and CBeebies star Andy Day and his band Andy and the Odd Socks.
It has been an extremely busy time within the PE department over the past few weeks. We have continued to work our way through the curriculum topics of gymnastics, indoor athletics and games such as hockey, football and rugby.
