Here at St. Johns we make every effort to help raise funds for our school, local community or National Events such as Comic Relief.

See below some of our most recent Fundraising events at St Johns where we want to say thank you to all that were involved!

Fantastic work!

Non Uniform Day - Thursday 22nd October 2015 

We held a very successful non uniform day in aid of a charity football match between the Key Stage 2 Teachers and Key Stage 3 Teachers.

For a Donation of £1, pupils were allowed to wear their own clothes on the day.

The proceeds were divided up amongst the chosen School Charities of;

Year 5 - Save The Children
Year 6 - CLIC Sargent - for Children with Cancer
Year 7 - MacMillan Cancer 
Year 8 - Leukaemia Care 

Total money raised £562.00!

Book Fair 2015 

 

I would like to send out a huge thank you to all the parents and children who supported the book fair this term. We raised over £400 in commission which has been spent on Acclerated Reading books for the library.

Poppy Appeal 2015 


The Legion was founded by veterans after the First World War. A century on from the start of that conflict, we're still helping today's Service men and women, veterans, and their families in almost every aspect of daily life. We also champion Remembrance, safeguarding the memory of those who have given their lives for our freedom through Remembrance education and events.

Total money raised £110.68!

Red Nose Day (Comic Relief) - Friday 13th March 2015 


Comic Relief is a major charity based in the UK, with a vision of a just world, free from poverty. Every year we support this charity and are very proud to of raised a large amount of money to contribute to the Charity! Well done to everybody involved.

World Book Day - Thursday 5th March 2015 

 

World Book Day is a celebration! It's a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and (most importantly) it's a celebration of reading. In fact, it's the biggest celebration of it's kind, designed by UNES CO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, and marked in over 100 countries over the world.

We raised £203.02 for the School and £ 203.03 for Book Aid.

Total money raised £406.05!
