On Tuesday 14th December, we went to see Peter Pan at the Malvern Theatre. On the way, we went on a coach and we saw lots of sights of Worcestershire. When we arrived, we went through the building to auditorium 7 and sat down.

The greatest gift that I have ever received is the Amazon Wish List!! At last my wife can put down what she would like. It has helped me to give the best gifts that she wants (of course I do get something not on the list - usually a last minute dash to Cupitts!!) The tradition of giving gifts at Christmas time is a very ancient one, with links to the Winter Solstice and the Roman festival of Saturnalia. When the Roman empire became Christian the tradition continued, but its meaning was to reflect the giving of the gifts given to Jesus by the wise men. Gifts were then given on Jan 6th!!!

On Tuesday 30th November we held our annual House Cross Country competition for the crazy cats who just love to run in the cold and mud!

This year our Christmas Lunch will be held at Bromsgrove School

It has been an extremely busy time within the PE department over the past few weeks. We have continued to work our way through the curriculum topics of gymnastics, indoor athletics and games such as hockey, football and rugby.

These weeks certainly pass by quickly, perhaps because life in school is so action packed. Since my last newsletter we have commemorated Remembrance Day, where we marked the two minute silence and held a separate afternoon memorial service, remembering all those past pupils who served our country and lost their lives in service, whilst also remembering those who are still serving us in a variety of roles today.
