Permanent – Part-time position

6.25 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 12:00 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.

Term time only

Salary: £8.68 per hour


We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor to join our current team.

Previous experience is preferred but we are looking for someone who:

  • is well motivated and hardworking
  • is reliable and punctual
  • is able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
  • has the ability to control and supervise children
  • is patient and has a fair-minded approach
  • has the ability to stay calm in an emergency
  • has good communication skills

We are looking for someone who will offer a warm welcome to visitors at reception, possess strong administrative skills and a friendly disposition to join our busy school office, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The ideal candidate will possess GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above.  They will need to use their own initiative and work to clear deadlines maintaining a calm and professional manner. They should have the ability to prioritise their work and work effectively both as a team member and on their own.  You must be an excellent communicator, have a good standard of literacy and numeracy and experience of using ICT applications such as Word and Excel.   Previous school experience and knowledge of SIMS and Attendance is desirable although training and support will be given to the successful candidate.  The postholder will also administer first aid so will possess an up to date first aid certificate or be willing to undergo relevant training.
