Lunchtime Supervisor

Permanent – Part-time position

5 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 12:15 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.

Term time only

Salary: £7.97 per hour

We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor to join our current team of 7.

Previous experience is preferred but we are looking for someone who:

  • is well motivated and hardworking
  • is reliable and punctual
  • is able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
  • has the ability to control and supervise children
  • is patient and has a fair-minded approach
  • has the ability to stay calm in an emergency
  • has good communication skills

This is a key role at St. John’s and the successful candidate will be an outstanding French practitioner, bringing with them passion, experience and the capacity to inspire and motivate students and staff.

Applicants should have high expectations of all children, be a committed team player, and keen to be involved in the vibrant extra-curricular life and enrichment activities of the school.

The post is to be responsible for a form group and to teach in both key stages. Please state curriculum strengths, other than French.

plus 5 Teacher Educational Days

Monday – Friday – 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (with half an hour unpaid lunch break each day)

We are seeking to employ a First Line Technician to provide ICT Technical Support to staff and students, ensuring the smooth running of the ICT and Admin networks.

Experience of working in an academic environment would be an advantage as would a knowledge of computer maintenance, Microsoft Office and Microsoft’s operating systems.

The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate an ability and enthusiasm for increasing their ICT knowledge for personal development.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable team player to join our dedicated team of staff within our catering department.  Experience of working within a busy kitchen environment, preferably within a school, is essential.

The successful applicant will help assist with food preparation, serving and clearing.
